Korean Kitchen in Killeen

Nothing to look at from outside. Inside it has about 10 tables in an impeccable clean dining room. The ladies were extremely pleasant and full of smiles. You can see them cooking your food on the spot. I got the Kimchi soup and of course Yakimandoo. Delicious. I had ginseng tea also.. Very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

This place is not in the best section of town. If you stomach up the nerve you will be pleasantly surprised with your visit. The food is made from scratch and is full of great flavor they give you a bunch of small salads with your meal. The service is ok. The decor is lacking and kind of plain. The prices were reasonable if not on the higher end. It's worth a visit.

I had the bulgogi & rice. It came with about 6 dishes of Kimchi. All seemed authentic. Service was quick. Bulgogi was alright. Not as saucy or flavorful as I hoped. Kinda pricey. 4 stars. Would go again but still going to see if there's a better place in town.

I have to leave an updated review. My normal spot I go to has been lacking consistency on this soup. Korean Kitchen has always been consistent with the dishes I normally order. It was a rainy day today so I had to have this soup and ordered it extra spicy. The soup was amazing! Full of flavor and spice as requested. The server was pleasant and they always have barley tea for me. Thank you for an amazing visit!

I was sceptical at first, just by looking at the outside of the building. Bit this restaurant has excellent Korean food.

The food there is great, i normally go to another korean restaurant but had the opportunity to try it and the experience was great. Very friendly people will definitely be going back.. I also love the fact that they sale there kimchi which is great..

Ate here for the first time today. I ordered this dish Kimchi chicken with cabbage and rice. After a few bites, I knew I couldn’t take it anymore because it was very salty! I told the server and he said he’ll see what he can do. He came back and said the manager can’t do anything about it and I still have to pay. I said I’m not eating it like this. You guys are gonna have to fix this if you want me to pay, while handling him my plate. As I was waiting, the manager and the cook came out the kitchen with a face. I was waiting and waiting, while watching my friend and other people get their food. I finally asked where’s my food. The waiter said, oh the manager said he cannot do anything about it and he won’t charge. So why not tell me? I’ve been waiting for my food. The worst service ever! They must love salt because even the side dish had too much salt. Very unpleasant experience.

The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The waiter was polite and helpful when choosing our meals. The atmosphere was quaint and cosy but it definitely is the best Korean food I have found in Killeen!

It was a bit warm inside, not sure if the AC was broke, they need to rectify that... this is Texas.. But that bibimbap was AWESOME! A wifi connection wouldnt hurt either.

Soft tofu seafood soup was delish, all the sticky rice and sides were awesome too. Recommend for some good korean food.

A very solid meal. Everything from the side dishes to the main course was delicious. I had the kalbi and it was great. The pickles and radishes worked wonders with the rice.

Great Korean food. The good / great: I ordered the tofu stew and it was perfect. It came with rice and vegetables; all of which were perfectly prepared. The not so good: It's in a fairly bad part of town. During the day there should be no issues but I wouldn't recommend this area after dark. Once parked, the inside of the restaurant is older but clean. I would bring the family here for lunch or an early dinner. Strongly recommend if you're looking for good Korean food.

Very authentic! Everything I tried was delicious

We all went for our first trip (six of us, four of which never having had Korean food) and all of us were satisfied with the food quality and quantity. Even those of us who had safe items like shrimp fried rice were happy with the choices we made. However the service was lacking in that we all had a glass that ran empty a little over halfway through our meal and didn't get refilled. I am however under the impression that a cultural difference may be the cause for that. That's the only reason I gave this place a four out of five. Bottom line I'm going to be going back.

I've heard this is the place to go for Korean food and I'm never disappointed. I like spicy food and pork is their specialty. The woman who waitresses is very nice and friendly. Sometimes a bit of a wait but worth it.

Best bolgogi you'll find!!! Love the complimentary dishes that they send out with your food while dining in. This place has always been our favorite food place for at least 20 years!

Went to KK with a friend I work with. We are always looking for good places to eat while we are on the road. This place was a great find. I love local family owned businesses and this has all the ambience of one. The stone bowl "rice hash"(bibimbap) was phenomenal and the service was great and personable. I love Asian food and this did not disappoint. Highly recommend the KK for lunch or dinner...

This is our go to place for burgers. Everything is cooked to order and very fresh. They have a great variety of toppings for the burgers too. They even have live music on some nights. If you are looking for a fantastic burger, go to Billy Bob's. You won't regret it. They had live music tonight and the couple did country music and sounded great. Good crowd and excellent food. Even with the big crowd they took good care of everyone.

Very nice waiters/waitresses and great food with variety. I really have never had a bad experience at Theo's. On the menu, there's daily specials that the customer can choose from Monday-Friday. And theres plenty of seating so I've never had to wait. Love this restaurant!Nice neighborhood bar to watch games....Great food and drinks!! Staff is friendly and attentive

The name fits the fare. It is Korean food. The food is made in a kitchen. You won't be disappointed. You won't be the opposite of that either.

Delicious Korean GOODNESS! Don't overlook this place! Inside appearance is dull and physical location is cramped but you will shut your eyes, forget all that, and think you are in heaven once you've tasted a dish! Food is ALWAYS made fresh upon order, authentic, and makes you want to take a nice nap afterwards! A physical makeover and commercial advertisement would definitely boost their business 100%.

Great food and very clean place, authentic food just like in Korea. Staff and servers are pleasant. We didn't ask for it but the staff brought out a bowl and spoon of rice for my child to eat. Very quite and family friendly. They also have Togo food if you are in a hurry. L

This is amazing Korean food! I had the Kim chi with pork and my son had the beef fried rice. It was amazing! If you're looking for Chinese food, this is not it. This is much lighter and definitely true to their roots! Definitely recommend!!

Upon walking into the place, you definitely dont come here for the amazing views. It sits right on Vets memorial and 10th street so very easy to find. They got to me quick and got my drink out very quick as well. Now onto the food. I ordered the beef and broccoli with rice. Initial thought was "damn this looks good!!" Boy, was I wrong! It was very bland all around and not much flavor. The veggies tasted very raw and their original form. I was able to stomach it enough as I dont like to waste food but I will NOT be coming back on my own volition. My wife likes it here and comes here quite frequently so I wont hinder her but I wont be. The price isnt high so that's a redeeming facmV, tor to this whole thing. I think its between a 1 and 2 star so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Eat here if you want but I wouldn't recommend the beef and broccoli at all. The egg roll was also very disappointing. I was expecting much more from it but nah fam. Oh well. You live and you learn

Stopped by for lunch and it was delicious (had the bulgogi and japchae). They make it when you order so just be ready to wait a little bit. I’ll be back!

I was raised in Korea, and I can honestly say that they make food taste even better than food in Korea. Very authentic and delicious!

Love love this place has been owned and operated by the same family just different generations since 1978. Very consistent with the taste and quality.They close from 3 to 4 so plan accordingly.If you have never tried Korean food make this your MUST stop!

I love their bulgogi with extra meat. Homemade egg rolls are great too.

Wonderful. It did feel like eating at home. We were greated by a warm and friendly lady (owner?). The fried rice had a hint of coconut that made me want more and more. The Bimbimbap was cooked just right and full of veges, and crunchy rice. Side dishes were cool and homemade (not from a jar). You can feel the effort and love put into not only the food, but also the service to ensure everyone had a good meal. Can you bring the restaurant to the Austin area? :) thank you

Outstanding place for korean food. visited about four, it was not full. i've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. the place has a nice feel to it.

This is one of Killeens Original restaurants. It has probably the best Korean Food outside of Korea. We have been going to that restaurant for well over 15 years and it is our number one choice for Korean. The quality of their food it happened to none
